The first system requirements for Hogwarts Legacy were already published in August 2022. Due to the postponement to February 10, 2023, there were apparently still some changes to the game, so there are now revised and extended requirements.
Hogwarts Legacy: Minimum and recommended system requirements
There have been minor changes to the entry-level system requirements for Hogwarts Legacy. Above all, the minimum requirements have been lowered to some extent, but this should mainly be because you are now not guaranteed 1080p with low details and 60 fps, but “only” 720p at 30 fps. Hardly anyone wants to play that. Whereas a Core i5-8400 or an AMD Ryzen 5 2600 was the alternative before, a Core i5-6600 or a Ryzen 5 1400 is now sufficient. There have also been changes in the graphics cards: if you had to have a Geforce GTX 1070 or a Radeon RX Vega 56 before, a Geforce GTX 960 or a Radeon RX 470 is now also sufficient. Surprisingly, while 8 GB of RAM was previously sufficient, the minimum configuration now includes 16 GB. That is very unusual. The 85 GB of hard drive space can be stored on an HDD, but an SSD is “preferred.”
There were no changes in the recommended system requirements, which should be enough for 1080p at 60 fps and high graphics settings. Then it still needs 16 GB of RAM, a Core i7-8700 or Ryzen 5 3600, and a Geforce GTX 1080 Ti, a Radeon RX 5700 XT, or an Arc A770. The 85 GB of gaming data should be stored on an SSD.

Hogwarts Legacy Ultra and Ultra 4K System requirements
The Ultra category is defined by 1440p, 60 fps, and ultra graphics quality. This requires 32 GB of RAM, a Core i7-10700K or a Ryzen 7 5800X, and an RTX 2080 Ti or Radeon RX 6800 XT. If you thought that was all, the Ultra 4K category is even better. However, only the resolution is increased to Ultra HD; everything else remains the same. The CPU and RAM requirements remain the same, but a Geforce RTX 3090 Ti or a Radeon RX 7900 XT is recommended for the graphics cards. The Radeon graphics card in particular has only been on the market for a few weeks, so it could hardly be more up-to-date.
