How to take a screenshot on iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro

Three ways to quickly take a screenshot on your iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Pro.

Taking a screenshot is a great way to show off a scene or brag to your friends about your latest record in a fitness app. The new iPhone 14 makes taking screenshots as simple and effortless as it should be. And there are many different approaches. You can use hardware controls, customize a gesture, or enable Assistive Touch to take a screenshot.

Take a screenshot using hardware buttons

Taking a screenshot on an iPhone is normally done by pressing the device’s hardware buttons.

  1. What you need to do is press the ‘Lock/Side’ button and the ‘Volume Up’ button together.

A preview of the screenshot will appear after that. You can enlarge, crop or edit it by tapping the preview. If you don’t want to do anything, swipe the image to the left. The Photos app is where the screenshot will be automatically stored.

A whole web page can be captured as a screenshot on the iPhone. Once the screenshot has been taken, you may access it by selecting the thumbnail. Click the tab labeled “Full Page” next.

The screenshot may then be downloaded as a PDF and stored in your folders, or it can be sent using an app like WhatsApp or Mail.

Use Assistive Touch to take screenshot

If you cannot use your iPhone’s physical buttons because of a disability or because you are unable to use your both hands right now, you may utilize the ‘Assistive Touch’ function to take a screenshot.

Start by opening the Settings app and selecting the “Accessibility” option if you haven’t already done so to activate “Assistive Touch.”

To get started, launch the Settings app from the home screen. Select the “Accessibility” menu item from the next menu.

 Tap on the ‘Touch’ option.

Now select “Assistive Touch”.

Then, activate “Assistive Touch” by toggling the switch.

Tap the “Assistive Touch” icon to take a screenshot in this way.

After that, tap ‘Device’ to proceed.

Then, tap on the ‘More’ option to continue.

Last but not least, choose the “Screenshot” menu item to capture your current screen.

How to take screenshot on iPhone by back tapping

Taking a screenshot with the Back Tap gesture just got a lot easier on iPhone 14 thanks to a new shortcut option.

To get started, launch the Settings app from the home screen. Select the “Accessibility” menu item from the next menu.

 Tap on the ‘Touch’ option.

Then, locate and tap on the ‘Back Tap’ option to continue.

You may now customize the screenshot method by assigning the ‘Double Tap’ or ‘Triple Tap’ gesture.

Now, when you want to take a screenshot, all you need to do is double or triple tap the back of your iPhone depending on the setting you choose and thus, take a screenshot of your current screen.
